Curbside Garbage and Recycling pickup - 5/15/2020 - Curbside garbage pickup will resume on Thursday, May 21st. Curbside recycling resumes on Monday, June 1st. You may deposit your own recycling in the recycling trailer.  The trailer is located next to the Skate Park. The can/bottle trailer is back. Please remember, this is only for bottles or cans that you have paid a 5-cent deposit. Please NO water bottles, juice bottles, milk jugs, etc. in the trailer, and no trash. Acceptable bottles and cans include products that are carbonated or alcoholic, and are sold in glass, plastic or metal bottles or cans sold in Iowa and marked with "Iowa Refund 5 cents". The Titonka Community Club takes the cans and bottles to the redemption center. All proceeds go to the Community Club to help fund special projects and events.

Titonka Food Center - You can call in your grocery order and it can be delivered to your house to the front step, or pick up at curb-side. Effective April 3rd, TFC will be open to senior citizens from 7:00-8:00 AM. Doors will be locked to the public until 8:00 AM. Titonka Volunteer Firemen will deliver groceries from Titonka Food Center.  Contact TFC at 515-928-2044.  Deliveries will likely be made at noon and 5:00 p.m.

Titonka City Hall - Starting Wednesday, March 18, Titonka City Hall will be closed to the public until further notice.  Please use the outside drop box to pay your utility bill.  Garbage stickers are available at Titonka Food Center.  Please call City Hall at 515-928-2850 with any questions.  

Rosebud Old Fashions - Tentatively scheduled to reopen on June 15, 2020, with restrictions and social distancing.  Take-out orders will be available.

TSB Bank and Boyken Insurance - Lobby will be closed effective March 18, 2020, until further notice.  The Drive-up will still be accessible and any in-person banking and insurance needs will be by appointment only.  

Titonka Fitness Center - As of Wednesday, April 28th, the Titonka Fitness Center is going to continue to remain closed at this time. We are going to waive all fees for out members for the month of May, and will continue to monitor the situation on a weekly basis.  

Titonka Public Library - Visit the Titonka Public Library website for current re-opening plan.

Titonka-Burt Communications - The office is closed to foot traffic.  Staff is still working and you can contact us by phone at 515-928-2110.  Visit the website for more information.  The Annual Meeting of Titonka Telephone Company Stockholders scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2020, has been postponed.  

Titonka Care Center - is restricting visitors at this time as mandated by the Iowa Department of Public Health.  They are limiting all visitors to their facility unless absolutely necessary.  Only those who need to visit for critical or time sensitive reasons such as hospice or therapy will be screened for possible visitation.  If you have any questions, please call 515-928-2600.

Katie's Salon and Tanning - will reopen on Friday May 16th, 2020.

Good Hope Lutheran Church - Zoom Worship will continue through May 31.  Beginning June 7, Good Hope and Parish 3 will begin outdoor worship services.  Check the church website for rotation schedule and details.  The church secretary will be in the office periodically, with no set schedule at this time.  If you have an emergency, please call Pastor Kim at the parsonage (515-928-2552) or on his cell phone (605-759-5415). Ramsey Reformed Church - will have "drive-in" services on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. until further notice.

Titonka United Methodist Church - Worship Services in June will be held on Saturday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Worship inside the church building will resume on May 17th at 10:30 A.M. There will be nothing handed out, no hymn books used. Everything will be done from the tv screen. Social distancing will be practiced. Please wear a mask upon entering. Once you are seated at a proper distance, you may remove your mask. Please stay home if you are not well. If you are not comfortable with this plan, we encourage you to join the drive-in worship at Ramsey.

USDA - April 13, 2020: The COVID-19 Federal Resource Guide is a first-of-its-kind resource fo rural leaders looking for federal funding and partnership opportunities to help address this pandemic.  

Iowa Area Development Group's COVID-19 resources page offers links to statewide organizations offering resources, technical assistance and information for businesses while facing the impacts of COVID-19.  

FCC COVID-19 Consumer Warnings and Saftey Tips - The webpage includes samples of audio from actual scams and lists six ways individuals can protect themselves from such scams.

The State of Iowa, the Federal government, and the Small Business Administration are offering loans and grants for small businesses impacted by COVID-19. The links to information sheets below provide summaries of these programs, as well as links with contact information and application procedures as currently available. Small businesses are also encouraged to contact their banks or credit unions for additional information.
